On Earth Day (April 22), join the Springfield Science Museum for free activities and performances to celebrate the environment and our planet. Events will be held outside on the Quadrangle Green (Rain location: Springfield Science Museum). Come from the free giveaways of ice cream and plant seedlings!

Performances include:

  • Boys of the Landfill Bluegrass Band, 11 am-3 pm. Environmental songs by the trio.
  • Massachusetts Bird of Prey Rehabilitation Program, noon. Live animal demonstration by Tom Ricardi. (Tolman Auditorium, Springfield Science Museum)

  • Watershed Model, Connecticut River Watershed Council
  • Great American Cleanup, Keep Springfield Beautiful
  • Renewable Resources Display, EcoBuilding Bargains
  • Wastewater Treatment Model, United Water Environmental Services
