Applications for this year’s MassDEP SMRP grants opened April 1, 2025.
The grant supports local recycling, composting/organics, reuse, source reduction, program development, and enforcement activities that increase diversion and reduce disposal. Cities, towns, and regional authorities are eligible to apply. To help communities apply for SMRP Municipal Grant funds, MassDEP will hold its annual webinar on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET.
