DESCRIPTION:Applications for this year’s MassDEP Reduce\, Reuse\, Repair
  Micro-Grants open April 15! Applications are due May 15 by 5:00 p.m. 
 ET.\n\nThe Micro-Grant provides awards from $3\,000 (min) to $10\,000 (max
 ) for projects that reduce waste through donation\, sharing\, rescue\, re
 use\, and/or repair. Nonprofits\, businesses\, schools and colleges\, regi
 onal authorities\, and municipalities are all eligible to apply. Projects 
 must be based in Massachusetts and may take up to one year to complete. Re
 cycling and composting projects are not eligible.\n\nInterested in apply
 ing? Review the recently updated Micro-Grant Guidelines before starting 
 an application. The Guidelines provide important grant information\, inclu
 ding evaluation criteria\, eligible uses of funds\, project ideas\, and a 
 glossary of key terms.\n\nMassDEP will host a virtual information session 
 on April 1 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Register here.\n\nNote: After the ap
 plication opens\, questions must be submitted in writing to Leah Kelleher 
 at leah.kelleher@mass.gov. All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. o
 n April 29.
